Baby steps

State tests are over, and both kids seem to think they did well. Marty is “mentally exhausted” after taking the reading test and doesn’t have energy to do make-up work from last week. I don’t feel like pushing it so he just may not be able to go to baseball practice tomorrow night. We will see.

On a lighter note, I saw Dr F today. Without the kids! It was a follow up since adjusting my meds a month ago. He agreed that he and I have seen way too much of each other lately and thinks that has something to do with me not getting better any quicker. I know if I hadn’t been stuck at home with sick kids so much I wouldn’t be so depressed.

We are going to give it 3 months and see if I continue to improve. I figure as long as I continue to improve I guess it doesn’t matter how long it takes. I just need to make sure I keep working on my behavior as my depression lifts.
