Marty had an appointment at the children’s hospital yesterday to see about his chronic ingrown toenail. Long story short, he doesn’t want another local anesthetic when someone tries -again- to take care of it. He is scheduled for surgery under general anesthesia the day after school gets out next month.
He is actually looking forward to being “loopy” after anesthesia and wants Bella to bring the video camera. He also wants their dad there, so we called him this morning before the kids left for school. I was hoping Marty wouldn’t want him there, but I guess it’s a good sign that he does.
Today I need to call the rheumatologist to see what kind of precautions to take, since his arthritis medicines suppress his immune system. This stupid illness affects absolutely every part of our life and it’s really irritating. I got a call last night from the pharmacist wanting to discuss his upcoming change from Kineret to Enbrel. How many people get calls out of the blue from their pharmacy?
