I’m baaaaack!

Yes, I have decided to start blogging again.  I stopped when Marty went into a major flare (more about that later), but I have lots to share.

Quick update (since I missed blogging for the whole school year):  We made a trip to Washington D.C. to lobby for arthritis legislation and funding, Marty had to go on homebound instruction during his flare, he switched from Remicade to Actemra and is doing well, Bella has been diagnosed with vertigo, she has an appointment with Marty’s rheumatologist to evaluate for arthritis in her ankles, Bella and I have both had medication adjustments to better manage our depression, my father was declared to be on his deathbed twice (fortunately false alarms), and Marty was diagnosed with a learning disability.  It’s too early to say whether Bella’s depression is chronic, but I’m hoping it’s just the fallout from 5 years of big-time stress in her young life.

I just re-read all my posts from last year, shed a few tears, and came up with ideas for a few more blog posts.  I’m going to keep this one short (if it’s not too late for that) so I can get it posted.  I’m trying to not be so much of a perfectionist.  Yes, it’s hard not to be perfect when you’re as fabulous as I am, but I’m doing my best.  😉
